Lisa H. Lin
Certified Veterinary Technician (BVMS)
I am a veterinarian by training, currently preparing for the national veterinary licensing board exam. I was raised in Taiwan, Saipan, Texas and New York. My career and volunteer work has taken me to many parts of the world including Madagascar, Thailand, New Zealand, Ethiopia, Ireland, Scotland, England, and most recently Nepal. My colorful journey entailed chasing diurnal and nocturnal lemurs in the rain forests of Madagascar, to neutering homeless dogs and cats in Thailand for population control, to improving animal welfare conditions of donkeys and mules (the people’s livelihood) in Bahadir, Ethiopia. I received my BVMS from the University of Glasgow, Scotland and I am a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons since 2010. After practicing conventional veterinary medicine in the UK, I returned stateside to further my studies with the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine based in Florida, where I honed in on my acupuncture skills in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
I am an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys sport climbing at Smith Rock, mountaineering, snowboarding and volunteer world travel.
